For the second consecutive year, AmeriCorps is holding a video contest as part of the buildup to AmeriCorps Week. Current AmeriCorps members and alums are invited to create a 60-second spot that answers the question, “Why AmeriCorps?” Entries can address topics such as how AmeriCorps tackles some of America’s biggest challenges; what AmeriCorps means to you; and why someone should join AmeriCorps.

Just in time for this year's AmeriCorps Week, we've turned the top three videos from last year’s AmeriCorps Video Contest into recruitment–focused public service announcements that are just now being distributed to television stations across the country.

Admit it. Being an AmeriCorps member is special. Connect with hundreds of other special people today through the eCommunity and AmeriCorps Alums.
